The Burj Khalifa is inviting emerging designers, light and 3D mapping artists to submit their designs…
The Burj Khalifa laser show replaced the annual New Year’s Eve firework display this year, with a later announcement by Emaar advising that ‘Light Up 2018’ would be repeated until the end of March.
But could it be that the seven-minute show is set to get a makeover? It’s looking likely – and you could be involved.
A competition launched on the Burj Khalifa social media pages is inviting emerging designers as well as light and 3D mapping artists to submit design proposals.
Proposals will then go through a judging and selection process, with the winners work beamed onto the facade of the Burj, as well as posted across the iconic buildings social media channels.
Is there a bigger or better stage?
