The team behind FitRepublik is busy putting the finishing touches to a new 65,000 square foot community hub on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The Stage

Calling all drama devotees, dancers and musicians: The Stage at StudioRepublik is set to become your second home. In a move that’ll shake up the local music scene, The Stage will house Dubai’s first community recording studio, inviting musos from all walks of life to come in and lay down a few tracks.

Budding thespians can tread the boards in the industrial-chic theatre space, and dancers of all ages, from tots to adults, can sign up for a range of classes led by performing arts pros.

The Lab

StudioRepublik has assembled a pro team of nutritionists, personal trainers, massage therapists and rehab/prehab specialists for The Lab, an integrated wellness centre that delivers a holistic approach to well-being.

This is no cookie-cutter training programme. The Lab promises a bespoke approach to health and wellness, thanks to ‘K8’, a high-tech app and tracking system that measures your body composition, blood analysis, movement, power and endurance, before creating a tailored fitness regime. Plus, you can track your progress in real time, keeping you focussed on your fitness goals (and less likely to succumb to that weekend cheat meal).

The Arena

The high-tech approach continues in The Arena, StudioRepublik’s group exercise hub, where cutting-edge audio-visuals and lighting are designed to stimulate and push you harder. Ease into a new fitness routine with Pilates, yoga and meditation classes, or test your limits with bootcamp, aerial and cycling sessions.

The restaurant

Once you’ve finished recording your chart-topper or sweating it out in the gym, recharge in the Studio’s all-day restaurant. Serving nourishing bites for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this contemporary space will act as an informal hang-out zone, complete with live music throughout the week.
