First look: Contemporary eatery BOHO opens in Dubai Studio City
The final piece to Studio One’s flourishing food and beverage puzzle…
BOHO, the contemporary eatery brought to you by the people behind Indian hidden gem, The Meating Room, has opened in Dubai Studio City. It’s the final restaurant to launch in the flourishing Studio One Hotel, joining Larte, The Maine Street Eatery, Mr Miyagi’s, El Chapos Tacos and The Irish Village.
The colourful restaurant offers a laid-back destination where you’ll find a fun and fiery menu, complete with smoky barbecued bites and dishes with flavourful spice. Look out for the chargrilled lamb chops if you’re into slow-cooked prime meat, marinated in a signature sauce.
The new venture is the first licensed project for the team, offering a selection of creative and colourful cocktails. Each item is inspired by Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine, but given a global twist that speaks to Dubai’s multi-cultural market.

Pull up a seat at the wooden bar for the perfect after-work unwind, or come September it’s likely you’ll find yourself on the upcoming outdoor terrace. Inside, the ambience is electrified by the bold art adorning the walls, as well as the tribal soundtrack, carefully curated to compliment the menu.
Despite having a focus on high quality smoked meat, BOHOe’s vegetarian offering isn’t an after-thought. The quinoa burger is a winner with two veggie patties in a freshly-baked bun, topped with avocado and a tzatziki sauce that Boho refers to as ‘out of this world’.
The final piece of Studio One’s puzzle is the perfect counterbalance to Mr Miyagi’s karaoke-fulled fun, The Maine Street Eatery’s oyster indulgence and The Irish Village’s live and loud vibe. If you’re looking for a bright and contemporary space to relax with good friends and great food – this is it.
