If you’ve been to OPA Dubai and witnessed the unique entertainment, chances are you’ve seen Fotios getting involved with some of the traditional dances. His warm charisma and beaming personality are hard to forget.

Originally from Athens, Fotios grew up watching his mother in the kitchen, before taking on a job in a Greek hotel. His favourite ingredients to cook with include Kalamata olives, olive oil and saffron from Kozani, and fresh oregano from the mountains of Greece.

Fotios has lived in multiple cities across the globe, including Paris and Las Vegas, before settling on Dubai because he feels very at home at OPA. “[Greek culture] grows with you wherever you go,” he tells us.

From show-cooking in front of an audience, to meeting people from different backgrounds, Fotios enjoys everything about working at OPA. Having been exposed to foods and restaurants from all over the world, he’s able to share his passion and knowledge with every guest.
