Is this the most Parisian restaurant in Dubai?
Sponsored: A venue with that je ne sais quoi…
Since opening its doors more than two decades ago, La Cantine Du Faubourg, has been the rendez-vous of choice for many Dubai folk who are in search of a hip lunch spot, sophisticated dinner, after-work drinks, or weekend brunch.
Located on the lobby level of luxury hotel Jumeirah Emirates Towers, an intriguing entry way lit up with dim red lighting and olive trees leads down a candlelit corridor and eventually into the restaurant – a whole new world away from Dubai. From the decor to the dishes, the intimate venue reinstates ‘elegant insanity’ with its lively ambiance and oozes style and sophistication in pure Parisian form.
La Cantine Du Faubourg relies on five main principles to ensure it caters to all the senses: sound, music, image, art and food. From live music to statement art such as the iconic Elton John art piece, the restaurant successfully marries the grandeur of Dubai with the essence of Paris.
By day, there’s an exciting offering for every day of the week from business lunch to weekend brunch. When dusk falls the Parisian paradise ushers in cocktails, cigars and sultry tunes.
Business lunch in style…
One of La Cantine du Faubourg’s most popular offerings is the business lunch which takes place weekdays from 12pm until 2:45pm and is priced at Dhs110 per person. On the menu this week? To start choose between a tuna tartare, beetroot and blackberry salad, strawberry gazpacho, or chicken and corn salad. Follow with either seared sea bream, grilled baby chicken, beef tenderloin, or mushroom risotto. If you’re feeling really French, pair with a glass of wine for Dhs40.
An ode to traditional Parisian brunches…
This month is your last chance to experience the lively SUMMER 105 Brunch, taking place Saturdays and Sundays between 12pm and 5pm. Choose a three-hour time slot to indulge an all-inclusive selection of pastries, eggs, signatures, and sweets.
