Sharjah Art Foundation has your arts and culture fix this month

Sharjah Art Foundation is all about uplifting culture, highlighting the arts and giving a platform to admirers, enthusiasts and creators of it. This October and beyond, a new season of eight performances will enthrall audiences and offer unique experiences to all. Following in the footsteps of last year’s success, the second edition will offer even more performances.
This programme, lasting several months, starting from October 19, 2023 to February 11, 2024, will feature highly talented, passionate and incredible artists to showcase their craft at several locations in restored heritage houses and art spaces across the city. Brought to you by Sharjah Art Foundation, Perform Sharjah will also host theatre and performance workshops and talks led by participating artists, local partners and cultural practitioners.

- The Return by Rayyane Tabet, October 27-29, 2023; November 24-26, 2023 and February 3 and 4,2024, The Flying Saucer.
- Hunkaro by Mohit Takalkar, November 4 and 5, 2023, Calligraphy Square.
- Singing Youth by Judit Böröcz, Bence György Pálinkás and Máté Szigeti, January 5 and 6, 2024, Bait Al Serkal, Arts Square.
- 4 by Tao Ye, January 7, 2024, Sharjah Performing Arts Academy.
- Perhaps All the Dragons by Berlin January 13 – February 4, 2024, Bait Al Serkal, Arts Square.
- Libya by Radouan Mriziga, January 27, 2024, Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, Arts Square.

Things to remember
Admission to the performances is free, but prior booking is required, so don’t forget to reserve your spot. Tickets can be booked at the box office, performance venues or online at sharjahart.org. The box office is located at the Information Centre, Al Mureijah Square. Opening times are Saturday to Thursday, 9am to 9pm and 4pm to 9pm on Fridays.
