With the strange weather in Dubai this week, payday so close but so far, and the weekend still out of reach, we’ve found a great offer that won’t have you splitting the bill.

On Wednesday March 27, visit Bar 44, Siddharta Lounge, Buddha-Bar or Toro Toro at Grosvenor House and you can exchange a banana for a free drink.

Whether you have a banana sitting lonely in your fruit bowl, or you need to pop into the nearest Carrefour, bring along the yellow fruit and before you know it you’ll be sipping on a refreshing Zacapa Ambar drink – completely for free.

The offer is valid for the whole day, during each venues’ opening hours and each guest can redeem one drink with a banana.

Newly-opened Bar 44 definitely worth checking out, with exceptional views of Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah skylines. This Wednesday will also have a performance by their resident band The Supernovas. But if you miss them this week you can catch them every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening.

If you’re looking for a more mellow atmosphere, we’d recommend picking a seat at the bar of Siddharta Lounge. You still get to enjoy the Marina views, but from the comfort of the hotel’s poolside open terrace. The vibe is relaxed on a weekday, with the local after-work crowd opting for this spot to unwind for the evening.
