Your concert-going experience is about to get a serious upgrade, as Dubai Arena is set to open to the public in the second quarter of next year.

If you’ve driven past City Walk recently, you might have noticed the spectacular venue starting to take shape, with facade work now completed.

Developer Meraas said work on external infrastructure and landscaping, including paving and parking spaces, was underway. Finishing touches were also being made to the first of the arena’s 46 hospitality suites.

It features the most advanced technologies that incorporate a fully retractable seating system, a futuristic roof that facilitates all kinds of productions, a multi-purpose drape system, and the latest in terms of AV and IT systems

It will be the largest all-purpose, air-conditioned indoor arena in the Middle East. The venue will be managed by international operator AEG Ogden, who are also responsible for The O2 Arena in London.
