Fans of the ‘old skool’ have plenty to shout about today after Sundance Live announced the return of their MiXTAPE Rewind event, to be held on January 17 at Emirates Golf Club.

The special retro concept promises another nostalgic night with Boney M, Dr. Alban, Vengaboys, SNAP! and N-Trance all taking the stage on the night.

That means party-goers can hope for the likes of Rasputin and Rivers of Babalyon, It’s My Life and Sing Hallelujah, We’re Going To Ibiza and Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, and What’s On’s personal favourite from N-Trance Set You Free. Relive some of the classics below.

Mario Zakhary, managing director of Sundance LIVE, said: “Retro fans can look forward to a night of reminiscing, the artist lineup was handpicked to bring back memories for the concert goers. We’re working hard to make sure that the concert continues to offer fans the ultimate 90’s and 80’s music experience.

“There is something very special about the music from these two decades. It embodies pure fun. Having grown up in the 80’s and 90’s myself, I like the back-to-retro direction of new music, car designs, fashion and art in general. I’m excited to bring the 90’s and 80’s back into the spotlight for our regional fans.”

More than 5,000 people rocked out to the previous MiXTAPE Rewind, during which 90s heroes No Mercy, Jenny from Ace of Base, Haddaway, Culture Beat, La Bouche, Go West and SNAP! delivered hit after hit.
