Singer-songwriter Tim Hassall, has announced the release of his much-anticipated second album. which has landed at Virgin Megastores in Dubai.
The well-travelled star, who spent his childhood years in Papua New Guinea, Brunei and New Zealand as well as Dubai, and who also studied in the USA and UK, recorded his latest album in the bohemian neighborhood of East Nashville, Tennessee.
Gallatin has been described by experts as having a ‘diversity of sound that is truly impressive’, and is said to ‘showcase Hassall’s inspired musical vision, a beautifully diverse universe where each song creates a unique world for the listener to explore’.
With the help of producer Reiner Erlings, who can count Snoop Dogg and Flo Rida among his associates, and Grammy award-winning engineer Doug Sax, who has worked with the Rolling Stones and Ray Charles among others, it is a record set to further enhance Tim’s reputation.
The album’s artwork is the vision of Dubai-based artist Matt Ryder, and shows Hassall and a bison standing on Gallatin Avenue, the less than glamorous road he travelled each day to and from the recording studio.
Having established himself as one of the regions most popular songwriter-musicians, the star broke into the European festival circuit in 2013, performing at both the Secret Garden Party (UK) and Fete De Geneve (Switzerland).
