The whereabouts of Will Smith in Dubai has become as much a point of discussion among locals as the record-breaking fireworks display in the Emirate over new year.

There was impromptu appearance alongside DJ mate Jazzy Jeff at Barasti, in which he rattled off a small collection of classics, including Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It, for the awestruck crowd. There have also been the numerous sightings at restaurants around town, among them Toku and The Act.

He has also been spending plenty of time with actor, rapper and model Tyrese. The star of the Fast and the Furious movie franchise is himself in town filming part of the seventh installment of the street racing epic, but has been busy on social media websites, showing himself and Will in traditional dress on more than one occasion.

But on Saturday afternoon, the Men in Black actor cranked things up more than a couple  of notches when he was pictured before and after throwing himself out of a plane at SkyDive Dubai, joined by Tyrese and another celebrity, Maxwell.

Smith is in town with his wife of 16 years – Jada Pinkett – to celebrate their wedding anniversary away from children Jaden, star of The Karate Kid, and Willow. Quite what the teenagers would have made Dad jumping from 13,000ft up, alongside a group of friends, all of whom were quick to share their experience on Instagram once they were back on solid ground, is anybody’s guess.

SkyDive Dubai claims visitors will experience speeds of more than 200km/h as they hurtle towards the ground above The Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina.

Seemingly not content with his thrill-seeking, Will and the rest of the group were joined by Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai, for first, a desert safari and then a session at Inflight Dubai. In the video below, you can see some of Big Willy’s style.
