As Art Dubai gets ready for launch, visual artists in the UAE could see their pieces exhibited alongside work from greats such as Picasso, Salvador Dali, Roy Liechtenstein, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy and Andy Warhol.

Admissions are now being accepted for the upcoming independent exhibition, The Big Picture. Now in its second year, the art show aims to break boundaries. It will be displayed at the Pro Art Gallery in Dubai from May 10 to May 20.

Artists resident in the UAE who are working in paint, photography, sculpture, digital art, performance art, installation or the audio visual arts, can go to the exhibition’s website and download the application form. Works must be large scale (more than 100 cms x 100 cms). An optional theme of work to be exhibited is anatomy and body parts.
