Fancy winning a new set of wheels? Then you’d better get in gear for Mercedes-Benz Detour 2014.

Dubai’s biggest motor sports treasure hunt is back for its third year, with 100 teams expected to compete for the grand prize: a new Mercedes-Benz ML 400 (below).

Participants must compete in teams of two to five, using a Mercedes-Benz for transport (you can drive your own or rent one for the competition).

There’ll be tasks at each of the six pit stops, plus in-car quizzes and brainteasers for you to complete en route. As well as testing your navigational skills, you’ll be put through your paces with mental and physical challenges designed to push your wits and fitness levels to their limits.

Last year’s competition involved everything from driving challenges to kayaking to bootcamp-style fitness drills, so there’s no telling what to expect.

Registration costs Dhs350 per person and participants must be aged 18 or over.
