Our pick of the movies out in Dubai cinemas this week is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which sees the Man of Steel take on the Caped Crusader.

Here are all the flicks you’ll be able to go see from tomorrow…

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

Let’s be real, superhero fans – no matter what your thoughts are on Man of Steel, or casting Ben Affleck as Batman, or Marvel vs. DC Comics, you are STILL going to see this film. In Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne decides that Superman is a threat to society, and that it’s up to him to dole out some bat-justice. Let us know how that goes, Bruce. Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman are introduced to the franchise too.

MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING 2

The sequel to My Big Fat Greek Wedding picks up right where the original rom com left off, fourteen (!) years later. Toula (Nia Vardalos) is still happily married to Ian (John Corbett), and still dealing with a family that doesn’t quite understand the notion of boundaries. This time, there’s a teenage daughter in the mix, but it’s not her wedding that’s the subject of the film – it’s all about Toula’s parents who, it turns out, were never legally married in the first place.

THE INVITATION

In this tense psychological thriller, Will (Logan Marshall-Green) and his new girlfriend are invited to a dinner party at the house of his ex-wife Eden (Tammy Blanchard) and new husband. Um, awkward. It’s the house Eden and Will once shared, and it’s also where their young son died two years before. Will is convinced there’s something darker at play than a reunion. Why are the windows barred? Why are the doors locked? It’s a horror that’s low on the jump scares but heavy on the building sense of dread.
