Fans of UAE artist Clare Napper will be delighted to find out that she’s putting on a new show that sees iconic Abu Dhabi landmarks and institutions take centre stage.

Famous for her tongue-in-cheek posters about living in the UAE, the Great Exhibition Tour will feature 10 new posters of Abu Dhabi locales including The Club, the Corniche, the fish market in Mina Port, Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Emirates Palace, as well as highlights from past collections.

Napper spent five months exploring the capital and speaking with longtime residents before creating the collection. “My inspiration and style is very much inspired from the travelling tourist maps of the 1920’s and 40’s – what they call the golden age of travel,” says Napper. “It was a great way to portray living in the UAE.”
