Go to Fashion Week

Check out Abu Dhabi’s very own version of Bryant Park this month at Yas Mall Fashion Week. The event will feature a range of brands showing off their latest collections for autumn/winter including Tryano, House of Fraser, Debenhams, BCBG and Ted Baker. There’ll also be demos from stylists, hair and beauty studios, as well as live entertainment. Until October 15.

Look at some cool art

Watch the Wizard of Oz (sort of) 

Yellow Brick Road is a theatrical performance that takes the original story of Wizard of Oz and gives it a modern twist, touching on a variety of subjects including climate change, displacement and bureaucracy. Entry is free, but you’ll have to register beforehand.

Drink a trendy coffee

Kyoto Coffee

This cafe serves Kyoto coffee using a specialist large drip tower. It drips water slowly through specially selected coffee grounds for eight hours, before chilling the brew for 24 hours to achieve a pure-flavoured cold cuppa.
