Fans of the British monarchy (and anyone who’s ever watched Suits) will know that the nuptials of Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle are set to take place on Saturday, May 19.

But if your invite somehow got lost in the post, you’ll be pleased to know that several Dubai venues are getting a royal makeover for the occasion. Whether you want to celebrate dressed in a bikini or a bow tie, there’s plenty of parties happening.

Here’s where to celebrate the royal wedding in Dubai.

Al Fayrooz

It might not be quite like a British street party, but Geales are hoping to bring the next best thing with their Royal Brunch on Saturday May 19. Expect a buffet of traditional British dishes such as chicken liver pate, prawn cocktail, roast beef and chicken pie, served up alongside an array of family-friendly entertainment and a live stream of the wedding.

One for the boys, McGettigan’s JBR, is hosting the unofficial stag do for Prince Harry this Thursday May 10. There will be a live screening of the Manchester United taking on West Ham in the Premiere league, and the best dressed Prince Harry look-alike will walk away with a top prize.

Not content with just showing coverage from the big day, you’re invited to head down to The Scene for a ‘rehearsal dinner’ as well as the Royal Wedding. The British restaurant will be getting a quintessentially British makeover for the weekend, offering up afternoon tea, a package of five drinks for Dhs175 (including sparkling), a Wellington for two for Dhs249 or a traditional roast dinner for Dhs125.
