But did we manage to impress the Hell’s Kitchen chef?

Gordon Ramsay is one of the world’s best known chefs. A man with very high standards. So when we were let loose to rustle up a dish for the Scot at his Dubai restaurant, Bread Street Kitchen, it’s fair to say we were pretty nervous…

Ramsay has been visiting his restaurant at Atlantis, The Palm as part of Culinary Month and to launch new items on the Bread Street Kitchen menu that revolve around fitness.

The chef is a keen triathlete and rates keeping fit as one of his top priorities. So it made sense when tasked to cook for him, to cook something up with a fitness flavor.

We opted for roasted stone bass with curried mussels and charred cauliflower. A quick and simple meal to prepare and one full of healthy ingredients.

Should you be visiting Bread Street Kitchen soon, the fit food-oriented dishes are easy to spot on the menu – they’re the ones with a little running man next to them.

And as far as lunch dates go… this one wasn’t too bad at all!

*Note – Gordon Ramsay does not appear from nowhere with everyone who dines on their own in his restaurants.
