Thursday August 15

1. Throw it back with a performance from Young Jeezy

Any old school hip-hop and rap fans out there might want to listen up, as American rapper Jeezy (formally known as Young Jeezy) will be performing live at super club, BOA on Thursday August 15. The artist has collaborate with the likes of Kanye West, Akon and Christina Milian. BOA like to be pretty generous, so ladies, your drinks tab will be free all night.

2. Celebrate Indian Independence Day

3. Party with Frank at Toy Room

4. Enjoy a luxe spa day

The One and Only hotel is pretty wow-worthy, so you’d expect nothing less from its spa. The Friday lunch deal on offer from Molecule is pretty unbeatable if you’re looking for value for money. Every Friday from 12pm, guests can enjoy buy one get one free on all items from their a la carte menu, including beverages and scrumptious desserts. So when you order a starter, you can get the same item, or a cheaper starter for free, and the same for mains and desserts.

7. Learn about sharks at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

Get up close and personal with the sharks at Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo with a brand new offering. The 30 minute shark trainer encounter will educate you about shark species and the way they are taken care of at the Aquarium. As you learn about their environment, feeding and breeding habits, you’ll get to help the staff as they train bamboo and leopard sharks too.

8. Sing along at a special screening of Beauty and the Beast

It’s a Tale As Old As Time, and if you’re wanting to catch Beauty and the Beast on the big screen, you need to get yourself to Dubai Opera this weekend.The iconic Downtown venue will be transforming into a super sized cinema for a special, one-off screening of the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast on Friday August 16. Best of all, it’s a sing-along version, so guests can embrace their inner Belle – or Beast – as they belt out each song. You’ll be able to sing your heart out to Beauty and the Beast, Belle and Be Our Guest, as well as all the other brilliant hits from the film.

9. Get 50 percent off a traditional Indonesian dish

In the mood for some Asian food? Asian5 are offering 50 percent off their Nasi Goreng bowl in celebration of Indonesian Independence Day this weekend.
