The news was announced on January 13…

Are you a regular Careem user? You’ll be thrilled to know that the ride-hailing company has announced that users can now book a Careem to take them anywhere in the UAE

Previously, the service was only allowed between Dubai and the capital, Abu Dhabi. But Careem has now expanded the service to include Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain.

The select emirates who have Careem services will allow customers to book a variety of car types to their chosen destination.

Victor Kiriakos-Saad, General Manager at Careem UAE, ‘Careem is excited to announce the expansion of its City to City ride-hailing service as a part of the ongoing efforts to improve the everyday lives of the Careem customer.’

Careem is taking the safety and well-being of all those who their service as a top priority.

The company is closely following the latest developments and are following the guidance of local government and public health officials.

Captains are advised to regularly use hand sanitisers, clean wipes and disinfectants between rides. To minimise social distancing, Careem urges passengers to use cashless payment options. And of course, both you and your captain will have to wear masks at all times.
