Dig into Arabic-inspired dishes at Ninive…

Get ready to go on a culinary journey at Ninive. The restaurant is inspired by the Arabic world, as it combines flavours from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and North Africa.

The name of the venue itself promises adventure, as it was the ancient city in Mesopotamia. And Ninive may well have been home to one of the Wonders of the World that was never found – The Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Located at the foot of the famous Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Ninive has impressive views of soaring skyscrapers. The interiors were created by the London design studio Pirajean Lees, but has Islamic majlis vibes so you can sit back and relax at this meeting spot.

Settle into the space, which combines dark red, pink-gold and bronze hues. Then watch as it comes alive in the evening with twinkly lights and a vibrant atmosphere.

You have the opportunity to try Michelin-starred French chef Gilles Bosquet’s food. Trained at Gordon Ramsay’s cooking school in Hong Kong, he is globetrotting chef who has bought his skills to this Dubai venue.

The cuisine includes a wide range of Arabic classics and modern dishes. Choose a Moroccan tajine, Lebanese fatayer (meat pie) or corn-fed chicken with tahini, lemon and spices. Branch out and try taktouka (Moroccan roasted peppers dipped in a sauce) or manti a Turkish meatball dish.

Each dish is just as adventurous as the last. You’ll have a hard time choosing between the aromatic dishes, which range from the spicy marinated sautéed lamb to the Iraqi tashreeb (braised lamb cooked with spices and lemon).

It’s all about a cultivated experience at Ninive, from its catchy playlist to its service with a smile. History, heritage and a warm welcome awaits.
