Happy Birthday, Sheikh Hamdan! The Crown Prince turns 40 today

Many happy returns to the Crown Prince of Dubai…

Today, November 14, is HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai’s 40th birthday.

It’s still early in the day so we are unaware of the Crown Prince’s plans but for now, let’s start with these gorgeous photos just shared on his Instagram stories.

Sheikh Hamdan shared two Instagram stories of his twins, Rashid and Shaikha holding ‘Happy Birthday’ balloons on his stories. And it has totally melted our hearts.

Sheikh Hamdan marked his twin’s first birthday this year back in May. The doting father shared a throwback photo of him with the twins when they were newborns. Both snuggled in white blankets, with cosy matching hats, the pair slept soundly in the arms of their proud Dad.  “Feels like just yesterday this picture was taken. It’s been one year today. Happy birthday Rashid & Shaikha and to all the children of the world,” he wrote in the caption.

Fazza, as he is affectionately called by family and fans, currently has 14.9 million followers on the social media platform. He shares highlights of his day on Instagram stories which include clips of him exercising (the Crown Prince gives priority to his health and exercises almost every day), brewing and drinking coffee, tributes to his family, and more. He also shares his poetry and photography skills, too.

It’s still early in the day, and we are not sure what the Crown Prince has planned for the rest of his day. Will he be visiting one of his favourite restaurants for lunch or dinner, or… will he continue to spend it at home with his adorable baby twins? Or maybe, he will pop into work? We aren’t sure, but yes, we will be keeping our eyes and ears open.
