The second serving of the sleek steakhouse comes with two bars, a terrace and spectacular Burj Khalifa views…

The first STK has proved wildly popular at its JBR home of the Rixos Premium, and now there’s a new steakhouse to get your teeth into, as the second branch, STK Downtown will open its doors this Tuesday July 3. 

Located in the recently reopened Address Downtown, the restaurant is described as ‘JBR’s swanky big sister’ and is split into a restaurant, bar and terrace.

For a pre dinner drink, guests can pull up a stool at the marble bar, which overlooks a dedicated lower lounge level.

If you’re looking to dine, then there’s plenty of options. For a more casual offering, there’s a casual bistro space of wooden tables and black chairs, or head to the elevated dining space complete with cherry blossom trees and cream leather booths for a more upscale offering.

While the indoor space can seat up to 180 guests, it’s the al fresco space we can’t wait to check out in the cooler months. A glass door leads you out to the STK garden terrace, where you’ll find a second bar and seating for a further 120 guests alongside some seriously ‘gram-worthy views of the glittering Burj Khalifa.

Although details of the weekly deals at the new STK have not been released yet, we’re hopeful for a Downtown edition of the sellout ‘Dare to Brunch’ Friday brunch, as well as their ever-popular ‘Just Fine Cuts’ ladies’ night.

STK Downtown is one of no less than eight new restaurants and bars opening in the renovated Address Downtown. Signature restaurant, The Restaurant, as well as Asian spot Katana and the Cigar Lounge are already open, with 63rd floor bar Neos, Turkish restaurant The Galliard and ‘Mediterrasian’ spot Zeta all set to open soon.
