With leather chairs, a mock fireplace, wood panelling, and a stag’s head on the wall, the only thing missing from this new men’s spa in DIFC is Roger Moore sitting in the corner with a cigar and an arched eyebrow. 

Decked out like an English country mansion, Hommage offers massages, haircuts, shaves, reflexology and facials. Instead of calling it a manicure or pedicure, Hommage labels it hand and foot grooming – much more manly. The treatment chairs have massage pads, and electronically adjustable foot, head, and arm rests, that will make you feel like Captain Kirk on the USS Enterprise.

At Dhs200 for a haircut and Dhs110 for a shave, Hommage ain’t cheap. They do ‘experiences’, which are a haircut with either a shave (45 mins, Dhs280), a manicure – sorry, hand grooming – (35 mins, Dhs300) or an exfoliation (50 mins, Dhs350). Each comes with a shoe shine and hand massage. We’re pretty sure Roger Moore would have all three if he came to Hommage.
