1. Grand Hyatt Dubai

Choose from turkey, goose or roasted rib eye, each served with your choice of six side dishes and four sauces. 2. The Ivy

Serve up a five-star standard traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings this year, courtesy of The Ivy At Home service. The restaurant can cater for various-sized dinner groups, with extra portions available too, and you can order up to 48 hours in advance of collection. Hampers for six will set you back Dhs999.

3. Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate

If you’re already outsourcing the food, why not go the whole hog and have it delivered to your door too? Given 72 hours notice, ‘The Gate’ will arrive bearing a whole roast turkey with chestnuts and all the sides, and with orders taken for up to 18 people, we can only assume the delivery guys are pretty strong…

4. Circle

Circle Café is dotted all around the city – there’s a new branch in Dubai Mall – and they’re offering a bunch of special takeaways over Christmas (and they’ll deliver too). A five kilo turkey with sides including sweet potato mash and braised cabbage will cost Dhs650, and you can choose between traditional or Oriental stuffing. The café is also famous for their desserts, and will bake you a whole cake (Dhs180). What’ll it be, red velvet or pecan pie? Order 48 hours in advance.

5. The Palace Downtown Dubai

Al Bayt restaurant is now taking orders for its traditional butterball turkeys, served with Brussels sprouts, buttered carrots, roast parsnips, roast potatoes and stuffing, plus cranberry sauce and proper gravy. Hungry yet?

6. Fratelli La Bufala 

This excellent yet relaxed Italian restaurant’s turkey comes with all the trimmings, but also with a complimentary Pandoro with mascarpone (which is a traditional, light and buttery Neapolitan Christmas cake).

7. Sheraton Grand

The hotel’s Feast To Go service will be preparing a choice of turkey or prime beef rib with all the trimmings and a selection of sides. With options serving up to four (Dhs850) or eight people (Dhs1,290), this is an ideal choice for smaller gatherings.

If you prefer to spend Christmas day at home this year, you can still serve up a succulent turkey, goose or prime rib of beef with this gourmet Christmas dinner to-go service. Hand-prepared by the chefs, the dinners come with a whole table-full of pre-cooked sides and dishes ready to be reheated.

The Raffles chefs are offering several different options this year, including a turkey that serves four to six people, setting you back Dhs650. A whole roast ham that feeds eight very hungry people (so could stretch for bigger groups) costs Dhs1,100. The trimmings include roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, mixed steamed vegetables, stuffing, cranberry Sauce, giblet gravy and bread Sauce. You need to book your meal 72 hours in advance and collect it from Raffles Salon.
