All you need to do is present your passport with a valid UAE residency visa at the airport and you’ll be entitled to stay for 30 days in the eastern European nation.
Previously, visitors would need to obtain a visa from the Azerbaijani embassy in the UAE prior to travelling, however now you only need to make it known if you plan to stay in the country for more than 15 days. Azerbaijan is an oil-rich republic that borders Caspian Sea and Caucasus Mountains. It’s neighbours with two other popular UAE holiday destinations, Georgia and Armenia. Time to book a trip to somewhere new, we reckon.
