Luxe chauffeur service Blacklane continues to innovate

When you’re in need of a ride to get from A to B and only the best will do, Blacklane is ready to take you places. The premium chauffeur service is the company to call when you’re travelling, whether it’s for business for pleasure.
But it’s a brand with a conscious too, and as Dubai gears up to host COP28, Blacklane has unveiled a 10-fold expansion of its all-electric fleet. Within this, riders can now also hail a first-of-its-kind Mercedes EQS-SUV, when looking for a greener way to get to their final destination.
These trips offer the same luxe service as any other Blacklane ride: smart cars, refreshing amenities, professional drivers, just with the added benefit of contributing less emissions into the environment.
“Operating in Dubai, a city that champions eco-innovation, has empowered us to not only expand rapidly but also to lead the charge in sustainable luxury travel. We’re proud to be at the forefront of this green revolution, ensuring that our growth is in harmony with the region’s environmental goals,” said Nicolas Soucaille, General Manager of Blacklane ME.
Blacklane’s passion for growth doesn’t end there. The company has so far trained 120 chauffeurs through its innovative training program, and within that more than 50 per cent are female. The training academy ensures every ride adheres to the best-in-class standards Blacklane prides itself on, with the program employing theoretical and simulator-based training to ensure the highest standards of service and safety. There are plans to further increase the representation of female drivers in the next quarter.
Blacklane now operates in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah, with its impressive fleet providing pre-booked services across all. For those booking in Dubai, there’s also an on-demand service, so you can book right away at the touch of a button.
Best of all, customers can ride with ease knowing that all Blacklane rides globally are 100 per cent carbon neutral since, in a first for the industry, the firm offsets all carbon emissions from all journeys.
