Fatboy Slim moves to headline on the Friday, replacing The Kooks who’ve been forced to pull out…

Party in the Park will now be an action-packed one day festival, taking place on Friday November 1.

Due to injury, The Kooks lead singer Luke Pritchard will not be able to make it to Dubai for Party in the Park, meaning the band have been forced to pull out.

The Kooks had already been forced to pull out of shows in the US and Mexico, with Pritchard taking to Instagram to apologise to fans due to a perforated disc in his spine. Sadly, this hasn’t recovered in time for the band to make it to Dubai, and we wish Luke a speedy recovery.

This means that legendary DJ Fatboy Slim will now headline Party in the Park on Friday November 1. Support acts Hollaphonic and DJ Chris Wright will also perform on Friday, making it a massive day of music.

If you’ve already bought Thursday tickets, great news – they’ll now be valid on Friday from 2pm – giving you access to even more music. You’ll be able to see artists such as Lighthouse Family and Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft before Fatboy Slim hits the decks at 10pm.

Tickets are priced at Dhs350 for general admission, Dhs499 for fan pit access, Dhs650 for fan pit package (inclusive of 6 drinks before 6pm) and Dhs999 for the all-inclusive, VIP tickets.

For Fatboy Slim fans, a new ticket option has also been introduced. Priced at Dhs250, it’ll gain you access to Party in the Park from 9pm.

I’ve got tickets for Fatboy Slim on Thursday October 31, can I use my current ticket to gain entry on Friday?

Yes, all Thursday tickets (general access and VIP) will now be accepted for entry on Friday November 1. You won’t need to be re-issued with a new ticket, just rock up with your original ticket for entry from 2pm.

I bought tickets for Fatboy Slim on Thursday but can’t attend on Friday. What can I do?
