Another huge skyscraper is set to be built in Dubai this year
It will be the world’s fifth tallest tower…
Dubai has no shortage of super-sized skyscrapers. Not only are we the proud title holders of the world’s tallest building (hello, Burj K), but the emirate also boasts seven of the world’s top 10 tallest residential towers, and the world’s tallest hotel.
And there’s a brand new tower to add to that list, as developers Azizi are set to begin building the world’s fifth tallest tower this year. Due for completion in 2022, the as yet unnamed tower will stand at an impressive 122 storeys tall.
The project, which will be located on Sheikh Zayed Road, is set to cost a cool Dhs3 billion to complete.
