There’s a lot to love about Maiz Tacos – from the freshly pressed tortillas to the homemade salsas and carefully sourced ingredients, this JLT taco joint is one of Dubai’s finest. So how do you improve on near-perfection? You add cocktails, beers, wine and spirits, and turn the whole shebang into a three-hour, one-off brunch.

On January 15, Maiz Tacos is hosting a pop-up brunch at Vida Emirates Hills, bringing their signature Mexican styling to the hotel’s poolside terrace.

The five-course brunch will feature all the dishes you love from the Maiz Tacos menu. Crunch your way through a serve of corn chips and guac to start with, before moving onto juicy-sweet elotes (Mexican-style grilled corn slathered in Maiz’s special taco sauce).

Next, there’ll be a tasty little Mexican Caesar salad, followed by the main event of three tacos per person, including adobo chicken, beef and vegetarian fillings. End on a sweet note with classic churros and dip.

The Maiz Tacos pop-up brunch costs Dhs165 per person for food only, which is payable in advance. There’ll also be a choice of two drinks packages, available to purchase on the day. For Dhs170, you’ll get unlimited house wine, beer and spirits, or for Dhs210, you can have free-flowing cocktails, sparkling, wine and spirits.
