Atlantis, The Palm has promised to deliver ‘the greatest show on earth’ as part of the celebration for Dubai’s World Expo 2020 triumph.

The iconic resort have vowed to put on the world’s largest firework display on New Year’s Eve, more than doubling the spectacular show that partnered its opening back in 2008, which you can relive below.

As part of an entire night of celebrations, including the New Year’s Eve Royal Gala Dinner, the pyrotechnics are set to deliver the most astonishing welcome to 2014.

The resort’s 21 restaurants, bars and clubs, will all bring in the New Year in their own way, while Sandance returns to Nasimi Beach with a stellar line-up including former Swedish House Mafia DJ Axwell, a driving force behind chart hits Don’t You Worry Child, In My Mind and Save the World, Emeli Sande, Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong.

Diners at the Gala Dinner will enjoy an elegant outdoor dining experience, live entertainment and unrivalled views of the resort’s fireworks display, on a beautiful 1.4km beach setting with The Palm as a back drop. A sumptuous dinner will be served at elegant tables by waiters, with live cooking stations, barbeques, and buffets with a wide array of hot and cold luxurious international delicacies. ‘Gold’, ‘Silver’ and ‘Bronze’ set menu options are available.

Guest rooms are available on New Year’s Eve starting from AED3700 (excluding 20% tax) for guests staying a minimum of five nights and purchasing a festive dining package.
