What’s On has all the pictures from the Home-Grown Heroes party thrown by our pals at good Magazine.

It was a special night all round as the team from good threw a party for their home-grown heroes, and celebrated the magazine’s first birthday at the same time.

The June issue of good Magazine paid tribute to some of the amazing small businesses, entrepreneurs and campaigners helping to make the UAE a great place to live, work and play. To celebrate, good hosted a bash for its home-grown heroes – the creatives, the idealists, the techies, the glow-getters, the retail therapists, and those all important foodies – at new Pier 7 restaurant Fumé, in Dubai Marina.

Editor Helen Spearman, who blew out the candle on good’s first birthday cake at the party, said: “It has been an honour to choose and champion our 2014 home-grown heroes, and the double celebration was a brilliant way to also mark our first anniversary.”
