Some lucky Dubai residents will be styled by a celebrity in Dubai this month after it was announced that fashion icon Kimora Lee Simmons is heading to the Middle East.

The former model and president/creative director of Phat Fashions, which includes Baby Phat, will attend a one-off event at the Dubai Mall on August 10.

The star of hit reality TV shows such as Life In The Fab Lane, will be taking centre stage at The Dubai Mall Fashion Catwalk to give her top tips on how to look flawlessly fashionable. Audience members will have the chance to ask questions while Kimora showcases this season’s trends.

Simmons, who has walked catwalks for Christian Dior, Roberto Cavalli and Yves Saint Laurent, among others, last year starred in House Of Fab, a show documenting the day-to-day of her fashion empire, which was hailed by the Daily Mail as ‘high-energy, occasionally shouty and eminently watchable’.

Her Dubai appearance is open to the public, although organises suggest arriving well ahead of the 4pm start time to avoid disappointment with the event likely to be packed.
