FIRST IMPRESSIONS
This has to be the least shack-like ‘shack’ we’ve ever seen. Slapfish’s fresh red and white interior is spacious and modern.

VIBE
Slapfish has speedy service and friendly staff, but the shopping mall food court location means it inevitably lacks real buzz.

WHAT TO ORDER
At a restaurant called Slapfish, seafood is the only choice. We can recommend the fish tacos, two flour tortillas stuffed with mahi – either grilled or fried – avocado and crisp veg and served with wedges of fresh lime. If you’re having starters or sides, you can’t go wrong with the sweet potato tater tots.

LOOK OUT FOR
There is no dessert menu, but Slapfish does have a trio of sweet treats up its sleeve – including a chocolate cake in a jar that requires a joint effort to finish.

IDEAL FOR
A quick lunch, or a casual pre-cinema dinner.

INSIDER INFO
Billed as ‘refreshingly responsible’, Slapfish is all about sustainable fish – you won’t find any hammour on the menu here.
