The second big New Year’s Eve bash announcement – behind Media City Amphitheatre’s mega MasterJam concert – is certainly one for house music fans.

International electro giants Groove Armada are set to headline the New Year’s Eve party at Zero Gravity’s outdoor stage on December 31.

The duo behind some of the biggest dance tracks of this century – including ‘Superstylin’’, ‘If Everybody Looked The Same’ and ‘I See You Baby’ – Groove Armada have single-handedly given the term ‘floor-filler’ a whole new meaning.

Since they formed in 1996, Andy Cato and Tom Findlay have constantly reinvented their unique sound, and produced eight studio albums, 13 compilations and 33 trip-hopping singles to date. The talented pair show no signs of slowing down as they reach a second decade behind the decks, having released their new EP – ensuring that Groove Armada remain a sought after headline act.

The New Year’s Eve line up also includes British DJ Hot Since 82. His tracks ‘Let It Ride’ and ‘Like You’, plus killer remixes including Rudimental’s ‘Right Here,’ make Hot Since 82 the hottest property in pioneering house music this season.

New Year’s Eve at Zero Gravity runs from 8pm to 4am. Tickets are priced at Dhs250 for early bird options; Dhs350 in advance and Dhs400 on the door.

VIP tickets are priced at Dhs1,499 and include exclusive use of the Zero Gravity upper deck, plus unlimited fine dining food options and premium beverages for seven consecutive hours, from 8pm to 3am. VIP ticket holders will also receive a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight.
