Wishing you a Merry Christmas
What’s On would like to wish all their readers a very Merry Christmas. Here’s some of Dubai’s highlights 2014 – videos, pictures, articles.
We were going to leave this page largely blank and instead just print the full words to Kool Moe Dee, Doug E Fresh and The Treacherous Three’s The Christmas Rap (sample: “Ho! Ho! Ho! Open up your door. I’m Santa Claus and guess what y’all, I got something to show”). Yes, using an obscure rap from the seminal 1984 hip hop movie Beat Street might seem, well, a little ‘out there’, but hey, it’s Christmas. If ever we were going to get away with such frivolity it would be now, because it’s Christmas! Who cares what craziness What’s On is up to, it’s Christmas, and we’re all having too much fun!
But then it occurred to us – we should thank the readers. Without you, we’re just shouting at each other about all the incredible things to do in Dubai. And that’s no good for anyone.
So that’s it, just a little note to say thanks for helping us help you. We’ve had a blast and hope you have, too.
Here’s the pick of the things that happened this past year.
