With less than 45 days to go until the world’s biggest boyband reaches our shores, there’s more good news for the UAE’s ‘Directioners’.

A 1D “pop-up shop” is about to open in the city.

The temporary store – dedicated to the boys Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson – will be located at The Dubai Mall near the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo for nine days from Friday February 20 to 29, giving fans a limited time to own exclusive products that organisers say will be unavailable anywhere else.

The travelling store has already visited over 20 cities around the world including New York, London, Sydney, Madrid and Copenhagen with fans queuing in their thousands to get a piece of One Direction to take home.

The 36 exclusive products on offer include t-shirts, hoodies, trucker hats, aviator hats, jewellery, collector dolls, stick-on nails, and life-size cutouts of each band member… we’ve got our fingers crossed for the 1D onesie.

Best of all, fans are in with a chance of winning one of five pairs of Diamond standing tickets to the band’s sell-out concert at the Sevens Stadium on April 4.

Thomas Ovesen, the chief operating officer of concert promoters Done Events, said: “We are thrilled to be able to offer Middle East ‘Directioners’ another unique 1D opportunity. Fans should be quick though, the store in The Dubai Mall is only open for just 9-days.”

2013 saw One Direction release their record-breaking third album Midnight Memories, which earned them IFPI’s Global Artist of 2013 gong for becoming the biggest selling act in the world. They also became the first ever band to have their first three albums debut at No. 1 in the US Billboard Chart, hitting the top spot in a further 30 countries worldwide.
