Mushrif Central Park summer workshops
Take the kids to the park this weekend for an indoor creative workshop in the exhibition hall. Taking place three times a day, activities organised by Merry Makers will include silk painting, magic tricks, building gingerbread houses, a soft play zone and more. Sessions are suitable for kids aged five to 12.

Play some golf
Tee off on the greens with this 36 hole pair’s betterball competition. The Varangis Ramadan Open is a two-day tournament that will be hosted at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club on Friday and Abu Dhabi Golf Club on Saturday. The entry fee includes full use of practice facilities for both days and an evening buffet at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Shop for a cause
Check out the Souq Al Omniyat, a traditional Emirati marketplace, in Deerfields Mall. Located on level two, the bazaar features Emirati designer clothing, perfumes, abayas and accessories. Proceeds from the souq will be donated to Make-A-Wish UAE, a children’s charity that aims to inspire and give hope to terminally ill kids.

Buy handmade goods at the Ramadan Bazaar in Souk Qaryat Al Beri
Featuring a mixture of 25 vendors, guests will be able to purchase dates, spices, clothing, jewellery and other locally made goods at the indoor marketplace. The souk will be hosted daily until July 24.
