Clean Bandit, Idris Elba, Klingande, Mistajam and Mike Mago are all set to perform at DXBeach at Zero Gravity on October 23

Dubai’s biggest beach party is back, signalling the (welcome) end of the summer.

The all-day music festival at Zero Gravity will be headlined by UK stars Clean Bandit, the brains behind the hit songs Stronger, Real Love and Extraordinary.

The award-winning electronic music act won a Grammy earlier this year for Best Dance Recording for Rather Be, a collaboration with former DXBeach performer Jess Glynne.

Also taking to the stage is Idris Elba, presumably taking some time away from the set of Star Trek Beyond, which is filming on location in Dubai this October.

It’s not the first time the multi-talented star has performed his hiphop/soul set in the emirate – he also played at the Sandance Festival at Nasimi Beach in 2013, as part of a line-up that included Keane, Groove Armada and Florence and the Machine.

You can also get set to groove to the smooth tracks of Klingande, the producer behind the summer’s unbelievably catchy house track Jubel.

If that’s not enough, BBC Radio 1 DJ Mistajam and house music maestro Mike Mago will be on hand to keep the crowd going well into the early hours.

The acts will kick off from late afternoon, but get there when the doors open at noon to enjoy local acts, live music, watersports and even spa treatments – or just to claim your patch of sand, and prepare for the biggest beach party of the year.

There’ll also be a DXBeach brunch from 12pm to 3pm for Dhs495, including DXBeach access, but spaces are limited so book ahead.
