David Guetta coming to Dubai for New Year's Eve
If you’ve turned on the radio, watched a YouTube playlist or been to a club in the last five years you’ve heard a David Guetta song.
The mega DJ and producer earned a reported Dhs110 million last year, has sold over 30 million singles worldwide and the videos for his mega hits are regularly viewed by hundreds of millions of people when they’re posted on YouTube (Titanium featuring Sia has 480 million views on YouTube, to put that into context, the USA is home to 320 million people).
So yes, we’ve established that the 47-year-old giving us jazz hands with pathos in the picture above is very famous. And, here’s the really good news for all you fans – he’s returning to Dubai to play a set, and on New Year’s Eve no less.
He will play at Dubai Media City Ampitheatre to ring in 2016, whipping out his collaborations with Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Sia and more during the gig organised by Peppermint Experience.
So how can you nab yourself a ticket? Well limited early bird tickets are available for Dhs350 by registering at peppermint-experience.com.
General tickets go on sale at 9am November 1 and are available online at Platinumlist and Virgin Tickets or in store from all Virgin Megastores from AED 495, while VIP table packages available can be reserved by calling 050 357 1113.
Also, if Guetta’s not your bag: Dutch DJ Martin Garrix (who is responsible for this huge hit) is playing at Meydan on New Year’s Eve (tickets from Dhs299).
