Fancy a free ride in a Lamborghini Aventador?
This is not a drill: app-based transportation company Uber is offering users a free ride in a Lamborghini Aventador from 4pm today.
Fancy going for a spin in a Dhs1.4 million car this afternoon? Well help is here, as Uber is serving up free rides in a 6.5L, V12, 690 BHP Lamborghini Aventador today.
And the coolest bit? Your driver will be European Le Mans Champion Oli Webb, who won last year’s Dubai 24 Hour Race at the Autodrome and is back in town to contest the title this weekend.
This is officially a case of move over Uber Chopper, you’re old news.

The professional driver will be cruising around the Dubai Marina, JBR, Emirates Hills and Palm Jumeirah areas from 4pm to 8pm tonight (so you need to be in one of those locations to make the request).

You then need to enter the promo code SupercarDxB to unlock the view of the supercar and star driver on your app. If your request goes through, Oli will drive you around for 15 minutes and then drop you back where he picked you up. Demand is likely to be high, so if your request doesn’t go through, try again.
Oh, and the folk at Uber say GoPros will be installed in the supercar to capture it all, so don’t book the ride if you’re camera shy.
