Celebrities spotted in Dubai this week: Models, sports stars & more
Dubai is quickly becoming the mini-break and stopover favourite for the world’s rich and famous.
With so many A-listers (and, let’s be honest B-, C- and D-listers) visiting the glittering emirate every day, we bring you a weekly round up of who was spotted where.
This week we’ve got models, sports stars and Pakistani legends…
Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio was in Dubai late last week and managed to fit in a trip to the desert…

A night out at the One & Only classic Tagine (a great restaurant to take visitors to FYI):
And she even managed to squeeze in a camel ride while on her comprehensive whirlwind tour:
Lebanese model (and former winner of Dancing With The Stars Middle East – prestigious stuff) Daniella Rahme had lunch near the Burj Khalifa:

Pakistani singer Ali Zafar – wasn’t Channo a tune? – caught up with Pakistani cricketer Shahid ‘Boom Boom’ Afridi while they were both in Dubai. That’s a lot of sub-continental talent in one picture.

South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs spent the day by the pool at the JW Marriott Marquis. Fast Fact: Gibbs was the first player to hit six sixes in one over in one day international cricket…
And he then went large at The Dubai Mall (we saw him as more of a Ralph man):
Golfer Rory McIlroy managed to bag a zipline ticket (read more about that here):
And Aussie Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice gave her limbs some well-deserved down time at Dubai’s Nail Spa while here on a visit.
