Oberoi Al Zorah: A sleek new eco-resort opening in Ajman
A sleek eco hotel is set to open in the mangroves of Al Zorah this year. Details here…
A new staycation option is coming our way in the form of a sleek eco resort being built in the natural marshlands of Ajman. The even better news is that it will open this year.

The Oberoi Al Zorah will be a 30-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, and will sit on a 100 hectare site that features a beachfront, lagoons, mangroves (that you can kayak through) and a forest of sorts.
Exactly how the hotel is an ‘eco’ one hasn’t yet been explained, but we’ll keep you updated.
The hotel will have 113 villas and suites, with all rooms boasting private balconies and all villas private pools. There will also be a spa with an 80-metre pool and a traditional hammam, as well as childcare facilities.
A balcony jutting off one of the rooms.
The main restaurant will be on a glass island, serving international cuisine. There will also be a beach restaurant and grill on an expansive wooden deck as well as a poolside juice bar, a cocktail bar and a wine and cigar bar.

The area the hotel is being built on is home to almost 60 species of birds, has a championship golf course on it as well as kayaking, dune driving and sky diving facilities.

The forest in the area is protected and so will remain untouched, and the water in the area has a fish nursery and an off-shore coral reef.
