Go to a Ramadan fair
Head to Tryano at Yas Mall to check out a special Ramadan night market, Layali Tryano. The event will feature local and regional designers like Amanda Navai, All Things Mochi, CeeCode and FMM by Fatma Al Mulla. In addition to browsing new collections, there will also be an Oud player on hand, henna applications, nail offers and more. The fair will be hosted until Monday July 25 and is a women’s-only event.

Go for afternoon tea

Watch the Euros
It might not be the World Cup Finals, but the European Championships are still a great chance to see some of the world’s best footballers, and every game of the tournament will be shown on a 10mx6m LED screen (that would put ones found in many movie theatres to shame) inside the du Forum. You’ll also find a fanzone in there, food, competitions and activities for children. Entry is free.

The Galleria is hosting a series of activities to celebrate Ramadan this year, including an exhibition by local calligrapher and graffiti artist Dia’a Allam. There’s a falconry display, a selection of arts and crafts activities for kids, henna artists and a band performing daily.
