Boat Festival returns to Yas Marina
The annual Yas Marina Boat Festival is returning this month on Friday October 28 and Saturday October 29. The two-day event will see guests head to Yas Marina to check out new kit for land and sea, try out some watersports and listen to live music.
While there will be a boat sale for those so inclined (expect everything from 3 metre to 20 metre vessels), you don’t have to be in the market for a new boat to visit the festival.
There will be watersport trial sessions from Eywoa and a Wake Kicker Exhibition that will see wake boarders compete in the marina. Visitors can also try out discounted trial sessions in wake boarding, wake surfing, kayaking and Stand Up Paddle.
If you’re after a more relaxed outing, try a cruise with Captain Tony’s or check out the Discover Zone to find out more about the UAE’s maritime history.
There’ll also be live music on the lawn from the Golden Years Duo, Khalifa Thani and DJ Rob Edge on Friday. While Saturday will see a performance by Dubai-based singer-songwriter Tim Hassall.
The festival is free to attend, however activities will cost extra. Doors open at 3pm to 9pm on Friday and 3pm to 8pm on Saturday. For more details visit: yasmarina.ae/boatfestival
