You no longer have to cook your Christmas dinner anymore, you can just order one straight out of Dubai’s best hotels.
It won’t be home-made, but it’ll still be delicious.
Wondering where you can nab yourself a turkey takeaway? Here are the places that do them, and how you can order one…
Shangri-la
The Shangri-La aren’t offering just takeaway turkeys, no. If you’re not feeling traditional, you can opt for everything from a festive seafood medley, to seasonal smoked salmon, steak, goose and guinea fowl. With the traditional roast turkey comes sage and chestnut bread stuffing, cranberry jelly and giblet juice (it tastes better than it sounds, trust us). Trimmings-wise, expect roasted veg, chestnuts, roast potatoes and chipolatas wrapped in turkey bacon.
Price: Dhs699 for eight people.
How to order: The Shangri-La will be accepting orders until December 31, with an order taking around 48 hours from booking until it’s ready. Payment is made in advance.

The Ivy
There’s never been a better time to order The Ivy’s festive feast – the beloved Emirates Towers restaurant will be closing down at the end of 2016. Take advantage of your last chance to enjoy its delicious Christmas menu and serve up five-star food in the comfort of your own home, including a roast turkey, stuffing and vegetables along with mince pies and Christmas pudding. The Ivy At Home service caters for parties of up to ten people, and you can order extra roast turkey too.

JW Marriott Marquis
Pick up your Christmas dinner from the world’s tallest hotel. French café La Farine will be serving up a traditional roasted turkey, along with an apple, celery and chestnut stuffing, maple glazed root veggies, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy and more. The festive feast serves ten to 12 people.

Warwick Hotel
Fancy a non-traditional take on the usual Christmas dinner? The Warwick Hotel’s got you covered. Along with the usual turkey with all the trimmings, they also offer a mouth-watering roast leg of lamb with root veggies and potatoes, or even sushi platters if you’re in the mood for something lighter. Each of the roast options serves eight to ten people, and you can also opt for extra trimmings such as chicken sausages in blankets and roasted new potatoes, with prices starting at Dhs30.

Pick up or delivery: Orders over Dhs1,000 will be delivered for free within one kilometres of the hotel.
How to order: All orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours in advance, and any orders cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will have to pay the full amount. The offer ends December 31.

Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre
The Pullman’s festive feast is a whole roasted turkey with some seriously tasty sides, including a sweet pea casserole with caramelised shallots and beef bacon, roasted sweet potato wedges and a sage and garlic gravy. Each grab-and-go box can serve between ten and 12 people.

Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach
At the Mövenpick, you pick your turkey based on the weight, with a six-kilo bird suitable for feeding eight to ten people, or a nine-kilo bird for up to 14. There are other sizes available at special request, and each one will be served with plenty of side dishes and a tasty homemade stuffing. All you have to do is pick it up.

Sheraton Grand Dubai
Not a fan of turkey? At the Sheraton you can opt for a perfectly cooked prime beef ribs instead, served with a range of side dishes and traditional trimmings. Not to worry if you’re more of a Christmas dinner purist: roast turkey is also available. Dessert is a buche de Noel, a chocolate cake rolled with cream and nuts.
