Check out the Love Food Festival

Hosted at Umm Al Emarat Park from Feb 16 to 18, this food truck festival will include local UAE vendors alongside UK and US trucks as well as guest Singaporean restaurateurs.

Brunch after hours at Hilton Abu Dhabi

While brunch is usually thought of as being a meal between breakfast and lunch, Escape restaurant at the Hilton Abu Dhabi has other ideas. The alfresco seaside restaurant will be hosting two after-dark brunches that begin at 8pm this month. Go to a free concert

Regional musical school Bait Al Oud is hosting a free teacher’s concert tonight at Manarat Al Saadiyat tonight. Musicians performing include Faisal Al Sari, Fathallah Ahmad, Bassam Abdel Sattar and Sherine Tohamy among others, who will also be accompanied by a musical group throughout the performance.

New sushi menu at Cho Gao

You can now get a plateful of sushi at Pan-Asian restaurant Cho Gao. The new Taste of Japan menu features a selection of salads as well as sashimi and nigiri options. There are ten types of rolls including California and spicy tuna, as well as crispy crust maki and unagi (or eel and crabstick). The restaurant is also expected to open a dedicated sushi bar space in the venue at the end of the month.

Celebrate Chinese New Year over tea
