Held in cooperation with both the Rawafid Centre for Development and Education and charity organisation Red Crescent, 30 employees from the RTA Women’s Committee volunteered to help accompany the children to pick out new clothes in time for Eid Al Fitr celebrations next week.
Ramadan coupons were also handed out to over 500 low-income families living in Oud Mateena, Satwa, Hor Al Anz/East and Muhaisna.
Entitled ‘Eid Joy’ the initiative is designed to fall in line with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s views of offering relief to needy and disadvantaged members of the community.
