Three fresh Dubai nights out to help maximise your weekend fun
A new hip hop night, the house of freaks and the world’s largest EDM festival…
The weekend is here, and Dubai’s in the mood to put on a show. What’s happening? Well there’s a new hip hop night, a circus show you won’t want to miss and, of course, electronic festival Tomorrowland is in Dubai for the first time ever.
Here are the three must-hit nights this weekend…
Thursday: Cirque Le Soir with DJ Junior J
It’s had a brand new refurb, and now Cirque Le Soir comes complete with a bigger, better ball pit, a fun fair and a host of new circus acts. It’s one for a wild start to the weekend, where you can expect to enjoy chart hits while watching clowns, fire breathers and sword swallowers.
Cirque Le Soir, Fairmont Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, 10.30pm to 3am. Tel: 050 995 5400. More info on Facebook
Friday: Straight Outta Que at Q43
There’s a brand new R&B night at this popular American-inspired loft, with DJ Keza taking over the decks with hip hop and R&B mixes. Promising both brand new hits and old school jams, Straight Outta Que brings a more underground take to Dubai’s R&B scene.

Saturday: Unite with Tomorrowland
For the first time, the world’s largest EDM festival Tomorrowland will be bridged to Dubai via a live video connection to the Tomorrowland Mainstage in Belgium. There will also be Live DJ sets on the local UNITE stage, as well as a good dose of the unique Tomorrowland atmosphere, with Martin Solveig headlining here in Dubai.
