Free yoga classes four times a week at new outdoor 'yoga hub' in Dubai
The pergola-style steel structure is located at Marasi Business Bay
There’s now a new destination for Dubai’s yoga enthusiasts to gather thanks to the opening of the city’s first purpose-built outdoor yoga facility.
Dubbed a ‘Yoga Hub’, the pergola-style steel structure is located at Marasi Business Bay and designed specifically for swing yoga able to hold up to 15 swings at a time.
Developed by Dubai Properties, free yoga classes will be held at the hub four times a week and run by local studio Piloga. The classes will run until the end of 2017 and can accommodate up to 150 people.
WHEN IS THE YOGA?
At the moment there’s a warrior yoga class being held on Monday mornings at 7am and a more relaxing class on Wednesday nights at 7pm, while Swing yoga classes are at 7pm on Sundays and Tuesdays.
There will be variety of appropriately-named classes on offer including ‘Candlelight and Essential Oils’, ‘Swing’ and ‘Full Moon Yoga with Sound Therapy’. We’re feeling positively zen-like already.
The launch coincides with the recently announced Dubai Fitness Challenge, and a free public event will take place on Friday, 20 October where visitors will have the opportunity to try out a number of classes kicking off at 5pm.
Interested participants can visit the Piloga website for more info, or to the Facebook event page for an exact schedule.
